Established since 1983 . We are skilled in all aspects of drainage and river works including sea defence.
We specialise in weed control, ponds, resevoirs, dregding, ditching & earth moving.
Working closely with the Environment agency and the Drainage boards to help maintain our areas flood defences and water courses.
Our company is ISO 14001:2015 Certified, CITB registered and we are a member of the CPA.
Tree Shears
Tree shears enable our proffessional team to access, cut or trim higher trees.
Our cutters allow the operator to cut and grab timber from within the cab of the excavator. With this technique we can safely, quickly and neatly clear large volumes of branches and trunks.
Our tree shear attachments can be fitted to standard and long reach excavators.
Badger Protection
Badgers are becoming an increasing concern over many areas of the UK, not least in the Fenland and surrounding areas. Badgers are protected under the Badger Act 1992 and works to exclude them and repair the damage that they cause must be licenced and supervised by suitably qualified individuals.
At Philip G Wright Excavations Ltd, our highly skilled team works closely with nominated ecologists to provide tailored solutions to badger damage issues in areas such as flood defence embankments, drainage channels and under highways. From providing mitigation and enhancement opportunities such as creation of artificial setts, to undertaking and project managing the whole badger exclusion process, Philip G Wright Excavations Ltd can provide a bespoke service that will ensure that your badger related issues are dealt with professionally and lawfully.

Our plant ranges from 7 tonnes all the way to 42 tonnes, with the reach up to 22 metres .

16 tonne machines with 12 metre reach
17 tonne machines with 13 metre reach
20 tonne machines with 15 - 18.5 metre reach
22 tonne machines with 18.5 metre reach
35 to 42 tonnes with 22 metre reach.
